Razorback Records is proud to announce that we'll be releasing a full-length CD from the Swedish Death Metal horde known as EVISCERATED in 2008! This is death metal the way death metal SHOULD be with the added bonus of their extreme and enthusiastic worship for the cult European horror cinema of such legends as Paul Naschy, Sergio Martino, Armando de Ossorio, Leon Klimovsky, and more! Get ready for graveyards to be desecrated, rabid werewolves ravishing bloody naked breasts, pentagram daggers jammed in your heart, and pissed off black robed zombies sacrificing your eternal soul!!!

Eviscerated was formed in the winter of 2005/2006 by Sven Nilsson (drums) and Filip Runesson (guitar). The goal was to play oldschool fucking death metal finding inspiration in bands like old Entombed, Nihilist, Dismember, Possessed, Death, Morbid Angel, Dissection, Autopsy, Obituary, old Sepultura, Repugnant and many more. Soon LB joined in on vocals and Kriss on second guitar. In the fall of 2006 a demo called Rituals of Reanimation was recorded. Then Filip moved to Uppsala and left the band. Gabbe (guitar) and Jens (guitar) joined the band in 2007 and Kriss started playing bass. In April 2007 Jens decided to call it quits. Martin from Disborn took his place on the gig on the 21st of April. Old friend J Undertaker of The Rotting has now joined this blasphemous force know as Eviscerated. Undertaker will handle the bass and Kriss will go back to playing the guitar once again.

Influences: Autopsy, old Entombed, Nihilist, Dismember, Unleashed, Macrodex, Possessed, Death, Grave, Morbid Angel, old Sepultura, Carnage, Dissection, Slayer, Merciless, Kaamos, Repugnant, Ribspreader, Death Breath, Soil of the Undead, Autopsy Torment, Hypnosia and many fucking more. Plus all them great horror movies from the golden era of the 60/70/80's! The works of people like Argento, Mattei, Fulci, Martino, Bazzoni,Alonso, Klimovsky, Leonard, Barker, Warren, Coscarelli, Gordon/Yuzna, Lenzi, Deodato, Miraglia, De Ossorio plus Naschy, Campbell, Morricone and an endless stream of other directors, writers, actors and composers. And of course we are very much inspired by the cult, mythos and mysteries that is the works of H.P Lovecraft.
